Social Media
In the past 5 years I have told you how powerful Social Media is and how you must incorporate it in your business. This year my talk has been Power Social Media. The notion of being only on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Linkedin, Blogger and 7 other accounts guaranteeing you success is crazy. There still has to be strategies, campaigns, branding, goals and serious thinking into setting up these accounts. In addition being on two to twelve Social Media accounts is dated. I know people hate to hear that because they have been sold on Twitter, Facebook and YouTube as they only Social Media sites that matter. But being on those websites alone just isn't cutting anymore. You have to be on those three plus many more Social Media websites.
Power Social Media
Anyone who is a Power Social Media Marketer I guarantee is on a minimum of 80 Social Media websites with bi-daily message aggregation. I personally have signed up to 350+ Social Websites along with 100's of other websites. All our clients on 10Edge are on ad least 30 Social Media websites. I don't need a WOW! I need you to think that your competitor could possibly be hiring or creating a Power Social Media strategy.
Competition
The bottom line is on the Internet you have to be 5 steps ahead of your competitor. Marketing strategies happen at the speed of light and the winners are companies who are smart, forward thinking and who can implement fast. If your team is behind on Social Media hire a Social Media Professional Team, Consultant or Power Social Media Guru. Power Social Media can be your unfair advantage that your competitor does not even know about.
I have seen to many companies get beat online, not by the quality of their product or service but their competitors commitment to cutting edge Internet Marketing. If you do not have a strong Social Media plan you will lose to smarter companies. I am not saying you will go out of business, but your growth and revenue might not be as high. Newer companies are banking on you not making strong, aggressive commitments to Social Media. They also hope in the near future you are not thinking about Power Mobile, Tablet or Internet Visibility Marketing.
At The End Of The Day
To be successful with Social Media takes careful planning, a good team (individual) and lots of hard work. The days of signing up for Social Media websites without purpose and posting 'This Weeks New Ad' is over. With Social Media you need constant content and a great team that can create campaigns. Moreover you need a pure understanding of Social Media Methodologies and Advanced Aggregation Marketing. You also need to understand what every real Internet Marketer knows 'Blindness.'
